Dreams

DREAMS Dreams are a succession of images, thoughts or emotions passing through the mind during sleep. I think dreams are unique, and each dream seems to be totally different. Though since I have been a little girl I have a recurring dream. It is me walking slowly up a dark stairway to this area with a lot of doors and I seem to know it is a very scary place because I am hesitant to keep walking. Infact I am scared stiff., and I think there is something horrid inthere. I awaken with a racing heart and am very frightened. I dream this dream several times over a 3 year period......Now another recurring dream is I can levitate, that is I can actually lift my body above the ground and float around anywhere I want. Now this is a cool dream and it is so real that before I awake I can not wait to tell everyone and then to my dismay I awaken to find it is only a dream.....OH.....SHUCKS! ...Another dream is that I have won the lottery and am so exzuberant and happy only to find that I awaken to nothing and I am very disgruntled...Another dream was me driving over a bridge near Walmart and landing upside downin the water and watching the water go past my window only to awaken and be so happy that it wasn't true.....I think I dream every night but forget the dreams later.......Are dreams really a trip to the unconscious while we are conscious? No one knows and that makes the experience even more tanalizing. ............Well I gotta go take my son to school.....See you in my dreams....Oh wouldn't it be neat if two people dreamed the same dream and could relate to it. OH I AM NOW LEAVING..SILLY ME!

There's A "Lil" Cricket in my Bathroom

A cricket is a jumping insect, and I do not see them until fall of the year. It has been thought that crickets come into the home to stay warm during the weather change. My mom said back in the old of days they use to feed the crickets crumbs of bread behind the warm coal stove. Well it just so happens that I watched a show on the history channel about these crickets that invaded this town back in the sixties. They were all over the street and so thick cars were running over them..They are not harmful to us though they look like a spider. Well this 'lil' fellow whom lives in my bathroom is slowing growing each day and when he sees me he jumps quickly out of sight, not my sight because I still see his "lil' squiskers sticking out behind the sink.. I do not know what he eats or where he came from but he had better run when feet approach because he is so small and our feet to him are sooo...big. We also seem to have tiny brown ants inthe kitchen. There are no ants and then by mornin there are lots and lots and lots of ants. They go after anything left on the sink. In my window I put tomatoes there to rippen and the ants think this is their lunch. They chase each other up anddown the tomatoes all day..It is so interesting to watch I barely have the heart to squish them. So the insects invade the humans to survive, uninvited and not so pleasant to behold they keep up their survival while running inside my house...Maybe they will go away soon...no problem....I am bigger than them so I hold the high card........Meanwhile the 'lil' cricket in my bathroom better be hopping out of the way and hoping no one but me spots him. Anyone else might not take lightly to this 'lil' jumping jack whom lives...'rent free' behind the sink. You know, he may have a big family back in there...Have a good day.

What Is Coming Down From The Skies ?

A big ole drop of something wet hit my windshield and I looked in astonishment as more drops of this wetness fell upon my view. Can you believe it? I do think it is raining. We have gone a whole month without a drop..Now the forest fires are out as of this morning. I took my cup of coffee on the back porch and curled up in my rocker with two of my kittens. The rain came down invitingly on my metal roof and it almost lulled me to sleep. My dogs are in their cozy yard and no rain gets to them. My impatience and my begonias and my morning glories are so happyto get this rain. I thought they were done for but now they are lovely once aain. The leaves are barely starting to fall and there is a slight chill in the air. It is time for me to begin storing summer clothes and get out the long sleeves. I hope we get snow this year as our winters are more southern now and we barely get any snow. I sure do appreciate this good rain and I need to remember to slow down whenI drive because the roads are slick with the leaves on the road. Yesterday my daughter told me she slid around on the highway north of here. Luckily no one was near her and also she is o.k..When it rains I tend to stay inand clean house more..Next week I have several things planned to do, including attending a birthday party for my little Cameron. He is my handsome grandson and his mom and dad always have a great party. I look foward to this and my other daughter and I have lots of things planned.to do next week.. We may find some yard sales as this month may wrap it up for the sales. It will get too cold soon. In the mean time I am going back outside to enjoy the rain. Oh' I forot totell you I won 4 of 6 scrabble games this morning onthe computer.........Good Day...Good Rainy Day.

Not Just Another Day

This morning is so cool and it is sprinkling a little rain. I am up early and have taken my son to school. On the way he is already planning his weekend. He wants to spend the night with Zak and Sat. night he going to see a comedian at the civic center with a different friend, all expenses paid. He has lots of friends and likes to be with a crowd just like his aunt Robin use to be as a teen. Well today I may go to Walmart to get puppy meds for my daughter's puppy. He is under the weather and I love him so much...This morning at 5:a.m. I was at the computer playing scrabble, and I won three games out of four. I love scrabble..I almost forgot to awaken my son for school because I was engulfed in my game...My good deed for the day is I let four cars out in traffic..Believe you me these same people would run right over top of me, but maybe my good deed will wear off on them...The only phone call I have received is a tollfree number that I do not recognize so I pick up the phone and lie it down..Well don't they know if I had money my car would not be only empty..How rude of them. I don't know if I owe them or not, but my credit is not the greatest.....Anyway I will turn my ringer off for a while and have a cup of coffee. Everyday is a new day that the Lord has given me and it is up to me to be happy in it...No day is "Just another day because each day is a Special Day. I hope it rains a lot because I smell a forest fire somewhere near our woods,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Happy Friday.....Hope you have a ood weekend.

First of the month

In our 'neck of the woods' a big majority of folks are "On the draw" , meaning they are on disability and receive a limited amount of money to "live on for a month..Now don't get me wrong, our area would go down without them. Walmart would be "shuttin down" without them and all the greasy spoon eateries would follow suit. But in our neck of the woods people are drawing checks for "who knows what? And does it really matter because some of them don't really know why. They just know at the first of the month they can come out of hibernation from every hollow and bring their white hair grannies to get their 'snuff'. I dobelieve there are "things" growing in their wadded up hair..At this time people, not even 18 years come in on canes and neck braces, andIthinksome of them just forgot to leave them inthe car. Don't they know they havealready been approved on their disability and the government is not out snooping on check day.........In our hill country disability receipents own new double wides big screen tvs and can be driving nice cars. Now thisa life style in our county and 3/4 of the people rely on their checks to survive...Some people are known to supplement their income by having a tooth pulled to get meds to sale but these people probably see no wrong todoing this or pawning their only microwave that the kids have for cookin.....I don't know how they afford cigarettes but some do smoke like a freight train................................. Here are some ways you can tell it is the first ofthe month.....#1 Traffic is backed up at every red light....you talk about road rage....they are all racing to the yard sales..#2. You hear screaching of brakes at every other house and they are seeing whocan get to the yard sale first..#3 Every pawn shop is full ., they are picking up their microwaves and rings and things...#4 The restaurants are so full there is standin room only..#5 The lawyers have a cheesy grin ontheir faces as they walk prowdly down the street with a toothless old feller..He probably goes in halves withhis lump sum approved disability..#5 Bill collectors show up at your door or a deputy is lookin for old John Q. public for a missed court payment...#6 the jails are fuller because they get-em a Jack Daniels once a month andgethappy. The rent to owns are busy..People buy everything in sight even if they don't really want it.#7 the dollar eneral stores are bussing with little tots buying everything from yo-yos to lil hand cuffs and all the candy their hollow teeth can hold..#8 People are lined up at the banks getting their checks cashed and they leave with a smile on their face from ear to ear...Some are old, some are young, some drive old beat-up cars, some drive new cars , some walk to the drive-thru and some go inside to cash intheir pennies...#9 Lines are long at the gas stations as they usually fill-er-up at least oncea month.....Oh..Happy..Day..that these people get to have a coming out of the woods party once a month. I'm sure this is as much fun as the New Yorkers goin to Tiffany's or to a broadway show......#10 Stacks of "old Roy ' dog food and loads of bathroom paper are in every buggy in Wally World..........Our mountain people possess a strong sense of 'family' and thankfulness, though some walk on the wild side and drive onthe wrong side of the road...we accept their way of life and to survive amidst these people you have to accept their behavior, their challenges and beneath all of this there lies a strong sense of caring for our fellow man. I witness this everytime I see a car "broke-down on the side ofthe road, there's always someone helpng and our mountain people are good ole folks just surviving on a small amount of money that their ancesters helped to fill up the corporate pot and they are getting 'the cream off the top of the rich bucket of milk our country fills up everyday.......Hope everyone enjoys their "First of the month". Happiness is having your needs met and we are all in this together,,not one of us is better than another intheeyes of 'GOD"...hAPPY fIRST

Playing Games

I love playing Scrabble. It is my favorite. Years ago I played with friends and family. Now I play on "Pogo.com and I also like "Whomp". It is a little strange to play with an unknown opponent. Thatcomputer tries to outsmart me but I usually win with a score way over 300. The computer also comes up with words that I"ve never heard of and sometimes right as I am playing my computer goes bizzark and knocks me off. I love maqking words from words. I have a habit, no matter where I am I will get words from words. Sometimes from a billboard or any sign. I also like watching word games as Wheel Of fortune. I have watched it for years, along with "jeopardy'. Other games I enjoy are "Rummy", and Monopoly, and also some kinds of games on the scratch off lottery tickets, but I honestly believe if I bought 500 one dollar tickets and scratched them off I would probably win 12 dollars...Is this a rip-off or what? Do I get mad when I lose while playing any game....you bet your booties I do, but that is quite normal , and my mom always said it is a sin to play games for money. Well that is called gambling. As long as you do this in moderation and know about the pit falls I guess it is o.k. Though I rarely buy a lottery ticket , they sure are fun and I wish I had a truckload right now.........Have fun with your games...Remember it's not how you play the games it is whether you win or lose .......l

I Want To Walk in the Woods

It will soon be autumn in Kentucky and our hills look awesome during this season. It is my favorite though it doen't last very long. I love walking in the leaves all looking like gold and brown and copper and making a crisp sound as I step on them. A couple of days in Autumn the wind will blow and the leaves will swirl as in a whirlwind and I will try to catch one. The pumpkins lay heavily in the patch and cushaws and squash are deeply ripened. We have an "Apple Day' festival in the fall that is close to home. Boy does that applebutter smell good and all of the pies make your mouth water....Better look out for the yellow jackets for they like apples too. On Halloween night the goblins travel through the mounds of leaves while the autumn moon plays peep a boo through the clouds. I love nature and I would like to go into the woods and listen to the sounds of autumn, the owls in flight, the squirrells gathering nuts and the birds rustling in the trees and then flying abruptly with the big flock that will soon be heading south. I like to look at the blue sky through the giant pines and watch the orange autumn sun go down through the treetops and hear the crickets and katydids calling. Autumn is so lovely. The air is so crisp and the sun warms your bones and there is also a chill in the air at night.. I have access to a local park that is woodsy and very inviting. There the forest is all around you. I even saw 3 wild tom turkeys fly off the point. and a baby deer. So everyone needs to enjoy autumn no matter where you live..........See you later

IT WILL SOON BE ELECTION DAY

Oh my goodness, I haven't made my mind up yet, Mccain...Obama...Mccain...Obama. Which one do I want. ?I usually vote for the best looking candidate, but there is no 'best looking candidate'. So, let me think, I got to speak personally to Mccain. Oh, by the way, he has the softest hands........Do I think a president must have soft hands? I really never thought about it. Now Obama is tall and lean and healthy looking and lately he has made me laugh and I really do like Joe Biden. I like his smile. Now that Sarah Palen has such a big mouth that I turn her to mute. My husband thinks she is pretty, but I don't think any thing about her......I still think Bill Clinton is handsome. Well I can't vote for either's looks so let me think.....I want our country safe, that would be Mccain..but I don't trust him because he might start the 'draft' back...and I have 8 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. I thinkObama would be better to the 'po-folks' and would help with their medical . Now I like that "stimulus check' and I think Obama is for this.It seems like though Obama wants Kentucky's votes he won't show up in our neck of the woods. Mccain...Obama....Mccain....Obama?????????????????????????????????Just get a load of this weird poem:...I don't know for whom to vote...I just want one who won't sink my boat...I want the one who is better looking...and hope that meanwhile he's not crooking...I want the one who makes me laugh...and cuts my taxes flat in half...I want the one who loves his spouse..and hides no secrets in the "white house...I'll vote the man who likes Kentucky..and will not think that we are 'sucky'. ..so I still think that I will vote..for the one that will not rock my vote.............Obama..Mccain..IT"S DRIVING ME INSANE.

Cats and Kittens

For years we have had cats and kittens. My son brought a stray siamese cat home one day. She was very beautiful so I kept her. By and by she had kittens and they were the most beautiful. They grew to be giant cats, some peach and white, some black and white but all were large, not like their siamese mom. We loved all of them but somehow through the years our tom cats would venture to the road and get killed orthe others would stray off and not come back. Each of them had a special place in our heart though each of us has gotten aggravated more than a few times when they would come in and get upon the table. But always in the winter they would fall asleep and look so warm and cozy on the chairs. As each left still the mama siamese, that we later named Granny, still stayed near and had other litters of kittens. Sometimes there would be 14 kittens here. Once Granny and her adult daughter both had kittens at the same time. Granny had hers in my open dresser drawer and the next thing I knew her daughter was carring her kittens inside the house and putting them in the bottom drawer of the dresser. Later one of the adult cats would climb high up in our dogwood tree and reach out and grabs us. How cute he was. As time went on Granny had a litter of kittens that died and another bunch that all died but one . That little kitten, barely 3 inches long with its eyes closed, would not be able to nurse because Granny had no milk. Well motherhood kicked in and I rushed to the vet to pickup some baby formula and a tiny bottle for the kitten. It was a good eater. I fed her every 3 hours and kept her in a cage and treated her as best I could......oh I didn't give her a kitty bath but a warm wet clothe did as well. She soon got big and strong. She really was the hatefuless cat that ever lived. She hated being petted..By being raised by a human she did not develope the skills she needed. Well she had kittens. Two died and one lived and she was a very good mama, but can you believe her kitten turned out looking identical to Granny, the siamese who had since passed away. This cat grew to be a giant and the black and white mama is petite. He is now our favorite, and my son says every night he comes to his window and wants in, though sometimes he leaves and stays gone for days. The black and whit cat still has odd behavior. She comes in and hides and gets in to everything. I think she would eat rught out of your plate and take your food right out of your hand....Besides these cats I have other kittens givento me by friends, knowing I don't need to get attached to them. Though through all my childhood I never owned a cat I have had my share of cats...In all right now I have #1.Black and white cat, #2.Her son,tan and white tomcat, #3A grey petite kitten named 'Batsy'. She really looks like a bat , #4 A tabby kitten, given to me on free bay and my daughter has her sister, #5A persian whom has very little sense. She's very stupid but pretty, #6 A grey spotted cat and an identical kitten who stays hidden and grew up in the wild, will not allow any human connection and runs away and eats while we are not around....Their ancestry was a beautiful Persian named 'Tiger' and belonged to my son, Trevez.. Believe it or not cats do have personalities. Some are loveable some snobbish and some are plain stupid. My favorite is 'Batsy; She sleeps on my shoulder and is loveable and soft and sweet. She even loves corn on the cob or anything I am eating.....Have a nice day......Love your cats and I'll love mine.

I Changed my room around

I am giving my big fish tank, the one Crystal had because Gina can use it. She also needs the table that my t.v. is sittingon so I will have her to give me her small entertainment center to put my t.v. on and she can have my table and fish bowland I moved my bar, it is for novelty only, to the other family room. Now if I can get my better half to agree with me he will book it downtown to Gina's house to take these things to her and get the entertainment center for me. I think I have made a good choice and I love changing the room around, so if all goes well my room will look different tonight. I had to move 'Tortie; our red neck Bahamiam turtle to the other room, but he will get good care whereever he goes. He is so cute. When I pick him up, his little feet thrash about trying to get loose and little does he know he would be in deep trouble if he got loose because he could not survive inthe wild. He is use to the warm beach of the Bahamium. I have to keep a special light on him to keep his temperature regulated. By the way my kittens jump up on the table where he is and help themselves to his water, the only water he has, and they must love it. I guess 'Tortie' thinks they are silly cats. 'Tortie hisses at me when I pick him up. Anyway I also worked outside and took the thrift shop 5 more bags of clothes and stuff. That makes 20 bags. I am doing good.. Well, I gotta go and see if my pepsi is cold .

Communication

I talk to all types of people, but the majority tends to lack communication skills.A lot of people qualify as a Narcissus,. Narcissism is the act of excessive interest in one's self. Narcissus was a beautiful youth who fell in love with his reflection while staring into a spring. and was forever changed. It is o.k. to love one's self to a point, but when it hinders your communication it's time to review yourself. I find while talking to certain people, I tend to either talk to,take at, talk up or talk down to or feel like I am talking to my self because the other party is still on his subject and hears nothing. Communication is defined as a giving or exchanging of information signals or messages by talk. However I find when I sit and listen intently to someone and then begin to speak, that person is still talking about ME[themselves. Is this done intentionally or are they missing some communication skills they were never taught or did not grasp as a child. Communication is similar to playing ball, you throw and catch, throw and catch. It would not be a bad idea if when someone tells you something, you could say " I understand what you are saying and relate on the topic to let your messanger know you comphrended the message. Too many people talk over someone else. Now about this talking to, talking down or talking up to someone means when I talk down it is usually someone lacking in communication. I usually agree with them and don't try to change the conversation. Now, talking up....that rarely happens to me except when I talk tomy doctor or my preacher or my respected elders. Mostly I love to "talk to' people., to close the conversationfeelin like I got my message accross and acknowedged what they told me..The next time you talk .....think....do I hear what they are saying? Have I been a good listener? If you "HOG" the whole conversation you are only thinking of yourself and you could become a Narcissus. You know, I even listen to a child's conversation. You would be surprised how skilled they are at receiviing and relaying you a message.,better than some adults. Listen, catch the message, relate to that, and take it from there. That way everyone feels even and communication lines are open....

Thank you Ikie Boy

I took the boys, all 5 of them to the park. As soon as Mom and Dad get their wheels rolling I fire up the old stroller and away we go. Noah hugged me, which is rare, and said I was the best grandmother in the world. In the park the oldest climbed about 15 feet uponthe equipment, the others ran and played and Baby Jack got turned loose to walk barefoot in the grass. I followed behind him. Believe me, to follow a 14 month old baby around is very interesting. He goes left. He goes right. He goes backwards and his thought process is so changing and he is so excited he falls right down. I took him to the big water fountain, and he loved the water spraying up, up, up. I let him play with leaves, and I am sure he has never touched one before. Jack is all smiles and is a love to take out. The older boys take up with other friends and before you know it they are completely out of the park, but I draw them back to me because they know they have to mind or they won't get to come back. Ike suddenly began to blow very gently through our hair. Boy Oh Boy..that wind felt good. The sun had just about baked us. I sat by the fountain and enjoyed this wind, now becoming pretty fierce. It didn't last very long and we strolled home. The others following way back behind me, trying to conjure up something else to get in to. Back home the house was so cool and we all settled down to a good movie and they played games. When they arrived I had Jack almost asleep. My daughter took me home. Before that my son in law offered me a ride on his motorcyle. One day I will take him up on a ride and let the wind blow through my hair. I had a nice day and was so glad "Ike" paid a visit.

I had to make a mad dash to E.R.

The phone rang yesterday just as I was going to work outside and it was and it was Gina. By the sound of her voice I could tell something was wrong.Mom, she said " please hurry down here, Nevaeh has fell and cut a big gash in her leg..Oh no....I immediately went to the car, left everything turned on in the house, doors open and didn't tell anyone. There wasn't time. I flew [up to 60 mph] on a narrow country road. I had to slow behind this old guy and I was going to pass but I couldn't so I slid right through the red light. No one was there. I knocked on Gina's door. Her pom pom was barking its head off,but no one came to the door. I nearly shook the door off, and then I noticed their car was gone..OK........I went straight to E.R. I ask the triage if my granddaughter was a patient. They said she was in the emergency room. WhenI got inside Jarid, Gina and my babylove were there. Nevaeh was in a wheelchair, her mommy said this made her happy to ride in it. The nurse and doctor came in and lifted her up on the bed. It took 2 nurses and me to hold her sweet little legs and arms down so they could stitch her knee. The gash was bone deep and gapped open. The sureon gave her a shot in the knee, She squealed and I know it truly hurt her. Well, it was supposed tonumb her knee, but everytime they put that needle through her flesh she cried out in pain. Her little face was sweaty and red and I held her and talked to her and kissed her little head. She said 'I hate this place.' Meanwhile the doctor ask how mom and dad were holdin out. They were so hurting for her and Mommy held her gand and soothed her. The doctor actually took his pointer finger tip and probed inside the hole in her knee. He did a marvelous job, and through all the screaming and thrashing about he was finally finished. I promised my babydoll an ice scream........Later in the gift shop she came in with her dad and mom pushing her in a big ole wheelchair. She had a bandage on her knee and a smile on her face. I bought her a big red balloon. Later I treated her to a frosty.. It was said that her big sissy made her a little corner at home for a make do hospital room.....is this cute or what....She hasw a night stand and food and drinks and her toys and balloons and a snuggly cover. How precious is her big sissy. Well , enough of this bad news-turned good. .I have a couple of important places to visit today. I must go as my coffe is smelling very good. ...As each day comes I thank the Lord for it and ask him for guidience ,knowing he will help me through anything I must go through.. He is always with me.

A Foggy Morning

I awakened at 4;30 a.m. I do not know why I am so alert this time of morning. But I cover my head and force myself back to sleep till 6;00 a.m. I made coffee and folded clothes and watched the "Today Show". I heard that on 9-11....Obama and Mccain are meeting in New York to speak about the tradegy of 9.l l...They will hold off and campaigning ads against each other, kinda like a cease fire of a cold war. Is this nice or what?????????????? I tooke my son to Hardies' to eat breakfast and to one stop for tic-tacs. When I let him out a cute girl ran off with him into school. He is very handsome and popular with the girls..He has a habit of using foul language which he says everyone uses even his coach, but somehow I can not accept this. Oh well, then I dropped off a donation at the thrift shop. It is so foggy this morning I can barely see the cars coming unless they have lights on. It is supposed to rain tomorrow, and hopefully it will cool the air and omit the fog. We have a forest fire near us and I can smell it. Yesterday my daughter and granddaughter rode around with me. We had a very, very good time and we might go to Gattiland tonight..Earlier I had 2 grandsons overnight and they were good boys, both ten years.....sometimes they et meaness in them and climb on the buildings and fuss with the neighbor boy accross the street. One of these grandsons stayed awake all night. One has black hair and one has blonde hair. They are so cute and I know they dearly love their Mamaw. I love them too. Today I am going to clean out the car. It is a new car and I do not treat it like it is new. I am messy and need to shine er up today. If I sit down very long I will get sleepy so I will get out of here and get busy. Thank you Lord for this day and I know all good things come from you..Have a nice day.

Ellen For Vice President

On my other blog the part was omittd where I was going to vote Ellen Degenerest as the running mate candidate, don't you think? She too is stupid and funny so she and Mike could really rock in the White House. I do not know if Mike has a wife so I do not know who would be first lady, and it would not matter because Mike would see to it things do not et down and dirty. Ellen could do her wierdo dance with Mike and our energy problems would be solved............Gotta go see what I can do to get these two folks on my ballet. They are the two funniest people I have never met ....I see them everyday in my living room and that's more than I can say about Obama or Mccain... ..... .... .... .... ...........................................................................................................................jj.... ......................................................................................................................................................................................... ..... ..... ..

MY MIND IS MADE UP

THAT'S IT........I HAVE MADE UP MY MIND............I AM VOTING FOR 'DIRTY JOBS',GUY................MIKE ROWE. AT LEAST HE WILL MAKE ME LAUGH WHILE I AM PAYING HIGH FOR GAS AND HE WOULD GET THE HOGGS OUT OF THE ROAD AND AND HE IS GOOD AT FIXING EVERYTHING. ..not only is he good looking but he is stupid too, and that means a lot for a candidate.HE MIGHT EVEN FIX MY KITCHEN IF I CAN FIND HIM.........MOVE OVER OBAMA AND MCCAIN MIKE ROWE IS MOVING TO THE WHITE HOUSE> HE WILL RID THAT PLACE OF RATS<> THEY MAY THROW A PARTY FOR ALL OF US......I NEED TO PUT THEM ON MY TICKET AND VOTE THEM IN....................FINEST TWO PEOPLE I NEVER SAW......BUT I SPEND TIME WITH THEM ON MY T.V. EVERYDAY......THAT'S MRE THAN I CAN SAY ABOUT MCCAIN AND OBAMA.........

YARDSALES YARD SALES YARD SALES

IT IS SURPRISING WHAT YOU CAN FIND AT A YARD SALE..,,,THEY SALE EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK AND THEY WILL SALE THAT TOO. THEY WILL EVEN SALE THEIR YARD, THEIR HOUSE, THEIR CAR AND THEIR DOG AND MAYBE THEIR OLD GRANNY. BUT I LOVE TO GO TO THEM...TODAY I FOUND A KITCHEN CABINET AND IT WAS ALREADY SOLD> THEN I WANTED A BLOUSE AND IT WAS TOO MUCH. SO I SETTLED WITH SOME NEW MASCARA....I WANTED MY DAUGHTER TO GO WITH ME BUT SHE WASN'T UP YET SO I WENT BY MYSELF AND I PLAYED THE NIRVANA CD IN THE CAR TILL IT GAVE ME A HEADACHE. I STOPPED TO GET GAS AT A FULL SERVICE PUMP AND ENDED UP GETTING MY OWN GAS. I STOPPED AT TACO BELL AND ATE A VOLCANIC TACO. IT WAS HOT...HOT....HOT.....IT RAINED A LITTLE> I HAVE TO GIVE A HAND SIGNAL WHEN I TURN OFF. I HAVE NO SIGNAL OR BRAKE LIGHTS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM. I WILL FIX THEM SOON. I SAW A LOT OF ANTIQUES AND OTHER STUFF AND I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT IT IS CHEAPER AND REQUIRES LESS STORAGE TO JUST LET THE VENDERS KEEP THAT STUFF AND I WILL JUST LOOK AT THEM. I SENT MY BETTER HALF OUT TO GET STUFF FOR MAKIN HOTDOGS. MY OLDER SON IS DRESSED LIKE A MILLION BECAUSE HE IS BEST MAN IN A WEDDING AT 3;30 TODAY. HE IS PURE DOLL.....HE LOOKS BETTER THAN A MODEL..........SO HOW WAS YOUR DAY? HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD ONE......DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT THE YARD SALES!

Forget the new freezer

I so much thought I was getting a new freezer. I was glad to get rid of my old one. Well , I ordered one at Lowe's and waited for it to come in, and it has been weeks, and now it comes in and it turns out that it is a refrigerator instead of a freezer. How stupid is that? I am tired of fooling with them and I have rearranged my kitchen space so I have decided to buy a new kitchen sink and the works. Let's hope the better half won't take a hissy fit when he hears about it. I now have access to a small freezer that someone is giving me. It will be smaller, but it will do. So much with that. Last night I took my son to the skating rink.. His little girlfriend was goin to be there. You know he can be wild about a little girl and they will call call call and .....then he quickly gets her off his list and he will be talkin to another and I can barely keep their names straight. My older son is attending a weddin of his best friend today They had practice last night at the gazebo in the park. I think he attended a bachelor party held for his friend in his brand new double wide, that will cost him $150,000 when it is paid for. Well my son's truck is not here yet at 9;a.m. I hope he is over his party before he drives home. My black n white cat tried to bite me when I lookes at her fur. This cat was raised as a human because it's cat momma would not nurse her and I fed her with an eye dropper. She was about 3 inches long. Now she is hateful and won't let me pet her and she will bite me. How stupid can you get. I raised a devil cat.....maybe she is a smartie.aleck humancat. I still love her even though she is bi-polar. I also have a turtle. He was given to me by someone on free-cycle. He has a red neck and came from the beach of the Bahama's. He stays in water and when I feed him he comes up to the top and grabs the food that floats in the water above his head. He is a cutie .His name is '"Tortie'. My younger son named him........I guess he is a 'him;.Does anyone know how to tell if it is a boy or a girl? Oh well I'll get away from this computer and start my day....Hope you have a great one. In thw meantime I just might get a freezer....even if it isn't new.

Autumn Is Right Upon Us

My car is full of leaves this morning, all over the top as I park under our cherry tree.My morning glories are covering my fence, and their little faces greet me as I hurridly pass them. I associate their blooming with the starting of school and school is already in. Around here there are sounds of bugs. I think they are kady-dids and grasshoppers and the cicadaes are gone. The evenings are cooler and a thin cover is appreciated at night. I have a leaf blower and soon I will get it out and blow up a pile of leaves.. I tend to exercise outdoors more in the fall. I have already gotten the biggest part of my summer clothes put away. The city pool has been emptied and my summer flowere have peaked, I have also a lilac bush, a rhododenrom[bad spelling], a bleeding heart, a blue snowball bush, English Ivy, a dogwood[pink] tree, a tulip tree and forsthyia bush and many wild flowers. They are lovely and the birds are bountiful. they sing early in the morning,'before my cats get up'. We have a tiny game rooster that crows every morningat 5:a.m. By the way I have 2 little red haired granddaughters that have the shiny look of fall. Their hair blends with the fall foliage and the browns and golds compliment their hair tone and they both have big autumn brown eyes.......My other granddaughter is blonde and blue eyed and all of them are so sweet and lovely. Autumn will soon be here and it is my favorite seasonof the year lasting only a few weeks I will cherish each moment of it...........Happy almost autumn......

PAYING MY BILLS

THERE IS TOO MUCH BILLS AT THE END OF THE MONEY...............I FEEL LIKE I AM GIVING OUT MONEY TO ALL OF THESE MONEY HUNGRY COMPANIES. BUT JUST THINK.....YOU WOULD BE SITTING IN THE DARK WITH NO TV,NO PHONE,NO AIR CONDITIONER, NO STOVE, NO WASHER, NO DRYER,NO MICROWAVE, NO COMPUTER..............AND NO REASON TO BE IN THE HOUSE SO YOU COULD PROBABLY GO LIVE UNDER THE BRIDGE.. YOU COULD CATCH A FISH FOR FOOD AND GO DUMPSTER DIVING FOR YOUR CLOTHES. ......GOODNESS I GET CARRIED AWAY DON'T I?????? OH WELL I'LL PAY ALL OF THOSE BILLS AND BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT I HAVE TO SHOW FOR IT, AND IF THERE IS ANY LEFT I WILL PUT A TANK FUL OF GAS IN MY CAR AND PAY $80.00 TO RIDE UP AND DOWN THE ROAD A COUPLE OF TIMES........YOU MUST REMEMBER THOUGH........YOU'VE GOT THE SUN IN THE MORNING AND THE MOON AT NIGHT.......AND THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE......SO ENJOY............HAVE A NICE DAY AND PLEASE PAY YOUR BILLS.

I almost got a new kitchen

My kitchen is older and needs updated so I talked my better half into buying all new cabinets, new sink, new floor........well, almost until he could see no reason whatsoever to get rid of what we have.....my son was going to do the work, but he still whined and got himself into a tazmanian fit and my son and I watched in awe as our plans went right down the drain.. That's a man for you. Well I ended up getting to at least move one little cabinet around and I pouted the whole time , but I acted so nice to him he was in question.. I said to myself, heck if life hands you lemons...make some lemonade.SO.....I did good for evil and fixed him a big mansize supper. Now how nice was that? Oh, but still I'm getting a new freezer......and I'll still use it against my better half in other little ways I'll see to it that he knows I really wanted a new kitchen..........I almost got a new one......might sometime....in the meantime I really like my old outdated kitchen.........From me....to you

Labor Day

I have never really thought much about labor day. I knew it meant something about the workers of America; Well let me fill you in....Labor Day was first celebrated on Sept.5th 1882 in New York City . It has always been a celebration of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. This is a yearly tribute to the prosperity and well being of America.....................................................So now you know......But it seems like a Sunday to me.......Becky and I chatted this morning and we laughed a lot alot during our conversation. We also like to recall old -fashioned language....'Appalachian English'.........or. just old timey talk in our neck of the woods. The word roashin ears[roasting ears] was cooked corn........The word dreckly {directly], and the word pimeblank[point blank], and flashy[fleshy] meaning you're fat. All of these..words are words I heard as a child. You are looking so 'poor' meant you are skinney, also 'You look like a bean pole .....They said that to so much I am now proud I am flashy[I mean a little fat. ] We tend to run our words together as' It's time to eat..Time teat. Come on back [moneback]..A mess of green beans instead of a big serving. Also we learned to call the last meal of the day 'supper'.....I'll give you more later. I have to go outside to the outhouse....and go hockey[poop]......Oh sorry I really have to go#one [pee pee]. Forbid we would say the word 'PISS..Wait...that word looks too big...piss. Also if a woman was pregnant. She was 'that way and and I'll shut up or 'be silent' and catch you later....Happy Labor Day....
