Sometimes I Get Depressed

Sometimes dark clouds begin to float over your normal sunny day. Beyond your control a feeling of intending doom can try to control your day. Staying busy and going about your usual routine if you can may help channel your thoughts and fight the depression. Dealing with problems can challenge you strongly, especially if you can not solve them. Losing something or someone you love is the worse of them. Crying is very normal. Grieving is one of the steps of recovery. Some people cope in different ways, as with being mad and more aggressive or just wanting to be all alone to think. Which one of these we choose is normal but if it goes on for too long it is good to talk to a professional. But we usually bounce back, thanks to the Lord. It is my opinion that finding time to do the things that interest yourself can help. It may be something as simple as sitting quietly with a cup of coffee, petting your animals, going to shop, even without a lot of money, just browse around and get exercise. Talk to someone who cares and tell them how you feel. Talk to the Lord every day. He is never gone, and he won't hang up on you or shut the door on you for he knew you before you were born. Ask him to go along with you thrrough the sunshine and the cloudy days.Remember we can not control everything as we would like, we can only control the way we elect to handle the problem. It is our choice to be sad or happy. When depression starts to set in try to divert and get busy and if you can't do this just fight it until the dark clouds turn to a clear blue sky and rays of sun bein to peep through. Try to be thankful and don't keep your expectations too high..The Lord loves an humble forgiving person. Afterall remember he walked the earth doing good and he wants us to be happy. I myself, get depressed from time to time, tryin to cope with everything and I try to busy myself and I do ask the Lord for strength and guidence...Have a lovely bright and happy day today.....Remember yesterday is only a memory and tomorrow will always be way out there somewhere but today is yours...and we can only take one day at a time and make the most of it.....................From one who cares
