Making Home-Made Candy

I really love making candies and confections, frosted pecans, black walnut/chocolate fudge, peanut butter fudge,divinity,chocolate cherries, pioneer potato candy. Also truffles, candies with jellied centers, marshmellow Easter eggs, brittle butter crunch, coconut kisses,sweet potato candy, macarroon fruit bars,caramel nut bars, peanut brittle, dipped pretzels, lollipops, candy strawberries, pecan logs,taffy, cinnamin rocks,Christmas ribbons, p-nutbutter balls, popcorn crunch, but of all of these my favorite is chocolate fudge with walnuts. I also love to bake pies, cakes and make my own icing, usually 7 minute frosting for the pies, lemon, butterscotch, banana creme, chocolate and my favorite fruit pies are peach, apple , cherry and chocolate. I also love to make breads of all kinds, home-made biscuits, rolls, white bread and muffins, blueberry is my favorite. I love a big, big tall icing on my pies, no scimping here. My hubbie, though makes the best cornbread. I have made chicken-n-dumplings this evening. I still roll them out thin and I make a large amount. The broth is usually very rich and these dumplings are mouth-watering GOOD. Take some time one day and make your favorites..the family will love it and it taste so much better than what you buy. Some of these goodies can be frozen for later use, and some make nice gifts. Did I make you wish for a sweet piece of candy or confection? Sure I did.
