A Rose For A Young Love

As I waited for my grandson to go inside the floral to buy his first rose for his sweetie, a beautiful little girl he has been seeing for 6 months, I couldn't help but notice the gentlemen coming out with flowers. Some had red roses, some had yellow, some had a mixture of spring flowers, some had candy boxes and roses, and I noticed the ages of the men. Some were 20's, some were 30's, 40's, 50+, etc. One very elderly man was barely walking and carrying a beautiful bunch of roses. I suppose he had bought many flowers over the years. All of these men had a special heart in mind. My grandson also had a special heart in mind and he bought his first rose and a fluffy dogie and a candle and a card. Of course the card stated, along with love that there is not another rose on the planet just like this rose and not another like himself..A good way to put it. He had a little brother go to her door and present this to her and he told him to tell her "This is compliments from.."T Daddy. She smiled and accepted. Young love is sweet and simple, uncomplicated and pure. These other men coming out with the roses probably have a story to tell, but nevertheless they walked proudly along with their roses. How great it is to be someone's Valentine. Send your love to someone today . Happy Valentine's Day 2009
