The Dress Is Very Pretty

Makenzie kept askin me to make her the Easter dress. I had her up here for the night and I just got everything ready and made her dress. It is blue at the top with blue sequins on the skirt. I even put special little sparkling buttons around the neck. Her belt was Easter eggs of pastelcolors and I made her a handbag to match and a pretty hairbow of Easter egg material. She put it on and came through the hallway and she could have been "Miss America' doing her walk, she looked so beautiful. I had curled her long hair in ringlets and and she has a million dollar smile. She wore her dress up to her Grandpa and Grandma's house and to school the next day. That made me very happy and I am so glad I got it made for her. Someday when she is grown I hope she will remember how much fun we had picking out all the stuff for her Easter dress. It is not Easter yet but Makenzie could not resist the temptation to were her dress early.....How precious is childhood...it is so wonderful to show your love for your little ones..and Makenzie's love shone for me when she showed off her Easter Dress that her Mamaw made for her. My sewing is not perfect but it is perfectly alright with her.........Good Night
